Unlike other manufacturers, we make our flag poles out of aluminum tubing; ours won’t ever de-laminate like fiberglass flag poles that can cause nasty splinters. We then either powder coat them or cover them with a 1mm thick uv stabilized plastic coating and finally we put a metal base (ball retriever) on the bottom and a threaded aluminum part on top.
